My name is Obed Manuel. I’m a freelance journalist and aspiring novelist and screenwriter living in Mexico.

Most recently I worked at National Public Radio, serving as a digital editor for Morning Edittion. I had the privilege of working alongside some of the biggest names in the industry, adapting daily radio show segments for online audiences.

Prior to joining NPR, I worked for Colorado Public Radio, where I served as editor for the Denverite news team and as an audience editor for CPR.

I previously reported for The Dallas Morning News on immigration, local news and issues affecting the Latino/Hispanic community in North Texas.
